Ready to Enhance Your Landscape?

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

1

Start by giving us a call to schedule a convenient date and time for your free estimate. At the appointed time, one of our experienced estimators will conduct a detailed inspection of your project. If you are seeking design or custom build services, your estimator will discuss those details with you as well.

After completing the inspection, your estimator will collaborate with our design team if necessary. They will then prepare a comprehensive estimate detailing the scope of work and the total projected cost for your project. Once finalized, the estimate will be sent to you.

2

After we recieve your signed estimate, confirming your project. We will add your project to our schedule. Weather plays a big part in how our schedule ends up. Don't worry though because you will receive several days advance notice before your project is set to begin.

3

Once the work outlined in the estimate is completed,  we will conduct a final inspection with you to ensure it meets our rigorous standards. Once the inspection is complete, we will give you the final invoice.  Then, you and your loved ones can enjoy your newly transformed backyard.

  • What is the purpose of a retaining wall?

A retaining wall is designed to hold back soil and prevent erosion, creating level surfaces for landscaping, gardens, patios, and walkways. It also adds aesthetic value and can enhance the overall design of your outdoor space.

  • What materials can I use for my retaining wall?

We offer several material options, including natural stone, concrete blocks, timber, and decorative pavers. The choice depends on your style preferences, budget, and the level of structural support needed.

  • How long does it take to build a retaining wall?

The timeline depends on the size, design complexity, and materials used. On average, small to medium retaining walls take 3 to 7 days, while larger or more intricate designs can take 1 to 2 weeks.

  • How tall can my retaining wall be?

In most areas, retaining walls under 4 feet typically don’t require permits. However, for walls taller than 4 feet, permits and engineered designs are often needed to ensure safety and compliance with local regulations. We’ll handle all permitting and design needs for you.

  • Can a retaining wall include built-in features?

Yes! We can incorporate features like steps, seating areas, built-in planters, or lighting into your retaining wall design for added functionality and beauty.

  • Do retaining walls need drainage?

Absolutely. Proper drainage is crucial to prevent water buildup behind the wall, which can cause structural issues over time. We design every retaining wall with built-in drainage solutions to ensure long-lasting stability.

  • How long does a retaining wall last?

With proper construction and maintenance, retaining walls can last 20 to 50+ years, depending on the materials used. Concrete and natural stone walls generally have the longest lifespan.

  • Can retaining walls withstand harsh weather?

Yes! Our retaining walls are built to handle Colorado’s freeze-thaw cycles, heavy snow, and rainfall. We use weather-resistant materials and ensure proper construction techniques to prevent cracking or shifting.

  • How much does it cost to build a retaining wall?

The cost varies depending on the size, materials, and complexity of the design. On average, retaining walls cost between $20 to $60 per square foot, with natural stone being on the higher end.

  • Does my retaining wall come with a warranty?

Yes, we offer a comprehensive warranty on our retaining walls. Our standard warranty covers materials and workmanship for up to 1 year, ensuring peace of mind.

  • Can building a retaining wall increase my property value?

Absolutely. A well-built retaining wall improves the functionality and curb appeal of your property, making your outdoor space more usable and aesthetically pleasing. This can enhance the overall value of your home.

  • Can retaining walls be repaired?

Yes. If your retaining wall is showing signs of wear, such as leaning or cracking, we can assess and repair it. Our team can rebuild damaged sections, reinforce the structure, or upgrade drainage as needed.

  • Can I grow plants or trees near my retaining wall?

Yes! Retaining walls can include built-in planters or terraces that are perfect for landscaping. However, large trees should be planted at a safe distance to avoid root systems that can exert pressure on the wall.

  • Can retaining walls help with drainage issues?

Yes. Retaining walls can be designed to manage water flow and prevent pooling or erosion by directing water away from your property. We can incorporate drainage systems such as weep holes, French drains, or perforated pipes.
